Tech. 4 Harry B. Morgan, 3131 Signal Service Company, U.S. Army

Army Still photographer T/4 Harry B. Morgan, 25, died on Nov. 18, 1944 of wounds sustained on Nov. 16, 1944 in a Luftwaffe bombing in the Italian village of Monghidoro which also claimed the life of fellow photographer Staff Sergeant Cecil "Max" Campbell in the same incident.
Both men were assigned to the 3131st Signal Service Company prior to its re-designation as the 196th Signal Photo Company. Morgan is buried at the U.S. military cemetery south of Florence, Italy.
